Project Impact

Impact Grant Fund Application

Please support Project Impact by considering a tax-deductible gift!

PTA Thrift Shop launched this program to increase the benefits we provide for students. We have committed 5% of net profits to Project Impact. We ask for your help to increase the size of this fund and its impact.

PTA Thrift Shop has helped support unfunded and under-funded school needs for over six (6) decades! Project Impact is an expansion of the work we are already doing on an annual basis.

How it Works

In March of each year, schools in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro school district are invited to submit their most compelling projects that are innovative and collaborative for Project Impact funding in a competitive process. The winning projects demonstrate high impact and measurable results. Finalists are selected in the spring. Funds are dispersed at the beginning of the new school year in October. Funding priorities are: STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math); Arts; Classroom supplies; Under-resourced students.
