   The P.T.A. Thrift Shop, Inc. mission is to distribute profits to support the Chapel Hill-Carrboro PTAs, generated by the responsible operation of a thrift shop business. Our objective is to acquire by various means donated goods of all kinds and descriptions and to sell these goods in a general merchandising shop for the benefit of the PTAs. Our Jones Ferry Road Carrboro location is currently closed, in preparation for the building of our new facility. Temporary retail and office space in Carrboro is at 201 W. Weaver Street (next to Provence) with offerings of furniture, books, electronics, and some collectibles/art. Retail hours are Mon-Sat. 8:30-6:00pm, closed Sunday. Please call 919-942-6565 for donation information. Temporary hours of operation for the Village Plaza location are as follows: Retail: Mon-Sat. 8:30-7:00pm, Sun 12:00-7:00pm. Donation Center hours beginning August 20, 2012, also at Village Plaza, located at 99 South Elliot road will be Monday - Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Donation Center is closed on Sunday. All locations are closed on the following days: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Dec. 24, 25 and 26. | |||
